PRODUCTION: The grapes for this wine are harvested manually at the end of October. The wine then undergoes carbonic maceration in autoclave for 50-60 days.

TASTING NOTE: This wine has a transparent ruby color. It is rich in flavor with jammy black fruit and forest berries. An attentive taster can spot a trace of banana brought by carbonic maceration. It has an easy juicy drinking texture.

FOOD PAIRING: Pairs nicely with Italian cured meats and lighter cheeses. Pair with red meat like a juicy burger, steak, a roast, or grilled lamb. Also delicious with mushrooms and cheesy dishes. Dark chocolate covered pretzels and this wine is the perfect snack.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: It’s best enjoyed when served between 42-46 degrees F.
